Achilleus Tatios' Leukippe and Kleitophon (2nd c. AD), and other ancient Greek novels will be read. Some arguments, such as ekphrasis, will be dealt with. First of all, enjoy reading.
Materials will be put, in autumn, on my web-site greek-bronze.com/ekphrasis/mythoi: English translation of all extant Greek and Roman novels (Reardon (ed.) 1989); Two versions of original text with translation (Guselee 1969; Garnaud 1991); Morales 2004 offers some arguments; and Several related entries of the OCD (4th ed. 2012), all by Ewen Bowie (novel, Greek; Chariton; Achilles Tatius (1); Longus; Xenophon (2); Heliodorus (4); Iamblichus (1); Methiochus and Parthenope). These site pages will be protected by a pass-word, the same as last year, which will be indicated at the beginning of the class, or if necessary, beforehand by request via mail. All the materials are available also in the university library.

教材は秋にサイトにアップする。全作品の英語訳（Reardon (ed.) 1989）、「レウキッペーとクレイトフォーン」の校訂原文＋現代語対訳2冊（Guselee 1969; Garnaud 1991）、議論の糸口を提供するMorales 2004、およびOCD（4th ed. 2012. 主要関連項目novel, Greek; Chariton; Achilles Tatius (1); Longus; Xenophon (2); Heliodorus (4); Iamblichus (1); Methiochus and ParthenopeはすべてEwen Bowieの執筆）。教材掲載ページのパスワード（昨年度と同じ）は開講時に伝えるが、前もって知りたい場合はメールで連絡されたい。以上の教材はすべて図書館でも利用できる。
